My base price is $75 per hour.
However, this can be negotiated based on the type of project and how your organization normally structures payment. The time and energy needed to draft a new text is usually much greater than editing an existing draft. Any work involving significant research will take far more time than something like a simple reflection based on scripture.

DRAFTING FROM SCRATCH
You've got a brief description of what you want to express, but no time to write it. You know generally what you want to say but prefer that the first draft come from someone who isn't as close to the situation. You've set a goal for a major document but need someone to do the research and writing.
For complex projects we can talk about payment structures, to keep it fair and reasonable for both of us.
EDITING YOUR EXISTING DRAFT
Perhaps you wrote a draft you're not happy with and want help to perfect it. You may have circulated a long text for comments, only to receive so many that you don't have time to sift through them. Or, maybe you jotted down a series of ideas and statements but need someone to weave them into a coherent whole.
